The Brass Lantern Inn Bed and Breakfast is located on the edge of the village of Stowe Vermont.
From the cozy fireplaces and soothing whirlpool tubs to the country quilts and spectacular mountain views, this charming and authentic Vermont bed and breakfast inn defines romance. Even during the busiest seasons, the inn's nine spacious and well-appointed guest rooms promise intimacy not found in larger lodging accommodations.
Recently named a Country Inn of Distinction and recipient of the Golden Fork Award by the Gourmet Diner's Society of North America, the country breakfast at The Brass Lantern Inn Bed and Breakfast is always a treat.
Everything served is prepared fresh daily -- including the breads and desserts -- using only Vermont seal of quality products and produce. Each afternoon and into the evening enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate and home baked goodies by a crackling fire in our living room or out on the patio as the sun slips behind Mt. Mansfield, Vermont's highest peak.
The Inn has nine charming and well appointed non-smoking guest rooms.
They fall into three distinct categories:
Standard Rooms are a small but cozy room which have a queen bed and private bath. Each room is nicely decorated and has antique furniture.
Deluxe room offers 2 queen beds with country quilts, antique furniture and private bath with tub and shower. Even at this small inn your choice of bed configurations in one room is possible. Each room has its own identity and are preferred by people who wish a non spartan simplicity.
Parlor-fireplace whirlpool Rooms feature; mountain views, a queen bed, and spacious bed chambers. Also a whirlpool tub in their bathrooms adds luxury to these accommodations. In addition these rooms have a Vermont made gas parlor fireplace as well. These rooms are preferred by those seeking space and or the soothing whirlpool tub and cozy fireplace.
Traditional fireplace-whirlpool Rooms also feature a queen size bed and look out on spectacular mountain views. Real brick fireplaces in the ample bed chambers and a whirlpool tub in their bathrooms. A popular choice among couples looking for a little sanctuary within this intimate inn.
Each room is individually decorated in period decor with carefully selected antique furnishings, wide plank floors, handcrafted quilts, and stenciling. All rooms are non smoking, as is the entire inn. Individual heat and air conditioning add modern comfort of this authentic atmosphere.

All rates are daily room rates for two people including a full hearty country breakfast. Additional people in same room are $20.00 per person Bed and Breakfast per day. Vermont State Rooms and Meals Tax is Additional. No accommodations for pets.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the Inn, in compliance with Vermont Law. Non-compliance will result in a minimum surcharge equal to your single day rate.
Reservation Policy: An advance deposit is required for any reservation. It can be done by credit card at time of booking.
Cancellation Policy: Refunds of advanced deposits, less a $20.00 administration fee, will be made if cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to your confirmed arrival. If you wish to cancel your reservation less than 14 days prior to arrival, your advanced deposit is non-refundable. Pre-purchased packages are non-refundable. Your deposit confirms your entire reservation. For an early departure or a late arrival date your advance deposit will be applied to the unused portion of your reservation first. Rates are quoted in U.S. dollars. Listed rates are subject to change. During fall foliage, holidays and peak weekends minimum stays are requested.
Check in / Check out: Regular check in time is 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. Please call in advance for arrival after 9:00 p.m. Earlier arrivals are accommodated as space becomes is available. Check out time is 10:30 a.m.
Payment can be made by cash, check, Visa, Master Card, and American Express. The Inn can accommodate small Weddings and Conferences and provide meals (2 to 50 people.) Gift Certificates are available.
